Chances are, if you're a person of a certain age, you'll remember Fraggle Rock. Well, remember the iconic lighthouse from the opening sequence? It turns out that not only is it in the UK, it's available to rent for up to four people. Check it out, it looks pretty great, too.

The show, which was created by Jim Henson - who famously created The Muppets, as well as films like The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth - started off in the 1980s, 37 years ago, to be precise.

It quickly became one of the best loved children's TV shows of the era and was eventually broadcast in 98 countries around the globe.

It featured a wide variety of bizarre puppet creatures known as Fraggles - obviously - as well as Doozers and Gorgs.

They lived together on a rocky escarpment in the middle of the sea, which was also home to a lighthouse.

If this is bringing back all sorts of warm childhood memories for you, then how about booking a trip down to Cornwall to stay in the very spot.

The lighthouse featured in the show's introduction when the camera pans down from the sky and through the top window.

Well, if you're after that hit of nostalgia, head on down to St Mawes, on the south coat of the UK, and book yourself passage to Fraggle Rock via Rural Retreats.

Sally Port Cottage is a holiday home built into the base of the instantly recognisable lighthouse, and you can bring three of your mates along too, as it sleeps four.

It's totally modern throughout, and - let's be honest - looks like a lovely place to spend a few days.

You'll have to get to it via a 300m cliff path, but that's all part of the adventure.

It's got two bedrooms, a large kitchen, sitting room with log burner, and an observatory room offering up some lovely panoramic views.

Also, you're in Cornwall, so there's loads of quaint villages and rural sights to see.

If you want to get booked in, prices start from £928 for a seven night stay. Factor in there being four people sharing, and you're at £33 per night, per person.

That ain't bad, given everything that you get.
