The Queen got a laugh out of a group of world leaders after cracking a gag at the G7 summit, and you can watch that moment below:

The Queen joined Prime Minister Boris Johnson, US President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel at the Eden Project in Cornwall, to attend an event put on by the Royal family.

The group of VIPs were then brought together for a 'family' photograph and it was at this point the Queen decided to make a little joke.

In a clip of the event, her Maj can be heard to ask: "Are you supposed to be looking as if you're enjoying yourself?"

To which Johnson replied: "Yes, definitely... we have been enjoying ourselves - in spite of appearances."

In the background you could hear the others having a bit of a giggle at the Queen's question.

After the shots were taken, Merkel approached the Queen and thanked her for taking part in the photograph.

The clip has since found its way on to social media, where people have loved seeing this side of the monarch.

One person wrote: "Damn, she is 95 and she is still working and has a great sense of humour. I love Queen Elizabeth II."

Another wrote: "Lovely sense of humour."

While a third said: "Love the Queen - she has an amazon sense of humour."

The Queen hosted an open-air event at the summit, which gathered leaders from the Group of Seven industrialised nations.

The three-day event saw the leaders of UK, US, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Canada commit to providing at least one billion coronavirus shots to struggling countries around the world.

Half of those doses are set to come from the US with the UK providing 100 million.

The group also discussed climate change, the global response to the coronavirus pandemic, Brexit and the taxation of multinational corporations.

Prince Charles spoke at the event to urge the world leaders to act fast on climate change.

He said the response to the Covid-19 pandemic had shown a 'crystal-clear example of the scale, and sheer speed at which the global community can tackle crises when we combine political will with business ingenuity and public mobilisation'.

The Prince of Wales added: "We are doing it for the pandemic. So if you don't mind me saying so, we must also do it for the planet."
