Tyson Fury Buys Camo Range Rover - And Gets Fined For Parking It In Disabled Zone

The Gypsy King got a camo-covered Range Rover - and then published a photo of his new motor in a disabled zone on Instagram.

Tyson Fury is one of the most consistently outrageous people on Instagram - he's as bizarre on a day to day basis as he is when he's selling his fights - and regular followers will be aware of his latest obsession: his camo Range Rover.

He only got it back from the outfitters this week, and already the 'Gypsy King' has found himself in a pickle with his new motor.

Fury had parked it in a disabled zone and found himself stuck with a parking ticket and a hefty fine.

Not his smartest move, and neither was posting a photo of himself and a mate posing in front of it to Instagram.

Given that he has a money-spinning fight coming up in Manchester in the summer, he'll probably be able to pay it.

To be honest, if you're the sort of guy who can afford to get their Range Rover kitted out in camo covering, you can probably park it wherever you like and then pay the fine.

Fury has been front and centre of the boxing narrative in recent weeks, from announcing his long-awaited comeback to the ring to calling out the major players in his weight division, particularly the two existing world champions, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

"I believe I can tie one hand behind my back and beat them", Fury told media in the week.

"Deontay Wilder spurred me on as he said I couldn't do it. I was walking my dog at the time and I thought 'I'm a fat pig and I need to turn this around, come back and knock him out'. When I'm ready for these guys in a couple of fights, we will take on anybody."

Fury also spoke of his challenges away from the ring, where he suffered from depression and was suspended after testing positive for cocaine.

"I want to set the division on fire this time. Before I wanted to prove I was the best on the planet. I did that by beating Klitschko and that was the end of it for me until the fire came back," he told the BBC.

"When I'm inactive my mind wanders and I want to be an astronaut or a swimmer, I want to be everything at once.

"When I'm focused on boxing I'm all right. Frank Warren (his promoter) will keep me nice and fit, active and when I'm four or five fights in, I won't have time to go nuts, will I?

"I've learned I don't need money. I've had it. Let me tell you, when Christmas is every day it doesn't make you happy. Being active does. I want to inspire people.

"I'm in a very, very good place. They say a happy fighter is a dangerous one and I am very happy at the moment. I think the two-and-a-half years out of the ring helped me. I've been boxing since I was a child and I needed that time off."
