This year's Wetherspoon Christmas menu has been revealed, and it includes a whole host of festive burgers.

The budget booze chain has scrapped the traditional Christmas dinner this year and instead gone for a selection of burgers, pizzas, and a risotto.

According to reports in The Sun, which shared a photograph showing how the menu will look this year, punters will also be able to chow down on some Christmas-themed paninis, too.

So, what does the menu look like:

  • Brie and bacon burger - £7.65 (soft drink), £9.15 (alcohol).
  • Chicken and stuffing burger - £7.65 (soft drink), £9.15 (alcohol).
  • Buttermilk chicken and stuffing burger - £7.65 (soft drink), £9.15 (alcohol).
  • Brie and cranberry vegetable burger - £7.65 (soft drink), £9.15 (alcohol).
  • creamy mushroom risotto - £6.35 (soft drink), £7.85 (alcohol)
  • Chicken, stuffing, bacon, and brie pizza 11" - £8.49 (soft drink), £9.99 (alcohol)
  • Brie and smoky chilli jam pizza 11" - £7.48 (soft drink), £8.99 (alcohol)

The above menu will be available in your local from 12 November to 24 December.

This year's menu won't include the turkey dinner.

Last year's menu went down a storm with customers, not least because it included the option of a stuffed turkey breast and winter vegetable meal, which boasted two slices of turkey breast filled with sage & onion stuffing, served with roasted Chantenay carrots and parsnips, Maris Piper mash, two pigs-in-blankets, peas, cranberry sauce and gravy.

But this wouldn't be the first year Wetherspoon has taken the difficult decision to pull the roast, according to reports, the pub giant did the same back in 2016, putting it down to 'commercial reasons'.

However, while some customers have claimed they're upset not to see traditional meal on the menu this year, Wetherspoon told the publication that this doesn't mean it's gone forever.

A spokesperson for the pub said: "Never say never, but not this year."

Earlier this year, a Wetherspoon chef was sacked after posting a series of videos explaining how the food is really prepared.

J Salsa, 19, claims he was hauled up before pub bosses after posting clips of himself creating various dishes, such as a full English breakfast and curries.

His full English clip shocked many 'Spoon's fans after it showed all the items being cooked from scratch, while in another clip he showed how he microwaved curries.

After his videos went viral - and came to the attention of management at the pub - J told his followers he had been suspended while they investigated.

A Wetherspoon chef was fired after sharing kitchen secrets on TikTok.

In an update on TikTok, he explained: "To my expectations, I've been fired... I've been withdrawn from JD Wetherspoon.

"I'm not surprised at all because at the end of the day, I did break company policy.

"I did have my phone in the kitchen and I did post work stuff on social media.

"Basically, they brought up the fact that I continued to post about my ongoing investigation like when I announced the suspension.

"I feel like I would have been fired either way to be honest because that s*** went viral."
