One woman ended up suffering abusive comments such as being called an 'overgrown Humpty Dumpty' and an 'ugly bitch' after she made a complaint about her local Indian takeaway.
It all kicked off when Lauren Barrass ordered a takeaway from Eastend Diner, in Newcastle, but wasn't satisfied with the portion size and decided to complain.
However, once she'd posted her review online she received an 'aggressive' response she didn't expect.

The 25-year-old left the review and immediately received a response from a man named Siffu Syed - who is stated to be the boss of the takeaway on Facebook - who in turn called her a 'fucking tramp' and an 'ugly bitch'.
Lauren decided to ignore the abusive comment and forget about it - that was until she was contacted by Siffu's brother, Bahar, who called her a 'fat c**t' and a 'Humpty Dumpty lookalike cow'.
Both Siffu and Bahar are the sons of the takeaway's co-owner Ashraf - who doesn't work for at the restaurant anymore.
Ashraf did post an apology on behalf of his sons, citing their 'vile comments over the bad review' - but since then his apology has been removed from the comments.

This wasn't good enough for Lauren as she, in turn, called the apology 'half-hearted' and says she felt 'threatened' by the messaged she'd received.
She said: "It's so ridiculous. I can't believe how personal and horrible they have been. I felt threatened by the wording and I thought I was more thick-skinned, but with people calling your personal appearance, it does get to you.
"I left work and I saw the owner's son Siffu had written above my review calling me a fucking tramp and telling me to get in touch. It felt like a threat - I was gobsmacked. I couldn't comprehend it to be honest."

When Lauren and her boyfriend were unimpressed with the 'small portion' they'd received they phoned the restaurant, saying staff got 'aggressive' when her boyfriend asked for a refund.
Later a public post appeared on Facebook (which has now been deleted), that said: "You know what it is [my] dad's had his business in Blakelaw for over 20 years and had never had this problem.
"All of a sudden some stingy BITCH start talking shit about [my] dad's business...Well guess what BITCH [my] dad's still laughing all the way to the bank every day. He still lives in a million pound house and drives the very best of cars and wears Rolex watches!!

"Everyone in Blakelaw knows who I am it's easy to get my number... if you have a fuckin[g] problem ring me U FUCKIN[G] TRAMPS!"
He continued by commenting on a photo she'd posted of the food, calling her an 'ugly bitch' and telling her to 'get a fuckin[g] face lift'.
Lauren didn't reply to the abuse saying she wasn't 'going to go to his level' but later received the messaged from his brother.

So far, both brothers have been contacted for a comment, but have not provided one.
