A woman from Newcastle has decided to raffle off her house and Range Rover for just £1 per ticket before she moves in with her boyfriend. You can take a virtual tour of the gaff by watching the video below.

Thirty-year-old Lauren Turnbull had the bright idea to hold the raffle for her two-bedroom house in Hazlerigg - as well as her 2015 Range Rover Evoque - in order to give somebody else a piece of luck, as she feels she's had.

Lauren is moving in with her boyfriend, Glenn Smith, also 30, and wanted to pay it forward a bit and help another person out.

She only bought the house last year, and has spent the intervening time kitting it out to a high standard.

But she's heading into Glenn's house in South Gosforth, so hopes to sell 200,000 tickets at £1 each to turn a profit on the house.

She's done it through a competition app called Raffall, which will take a 10 percent cut of the total - but £180,000 isn't bad at all, is it?

Lauren told Chronicle Live: "I just thought with this year being so bad I really wanted to give someone a bit of good luck.

"Three weeks ago my partner sent me a link of a person raffling a home and I though that was a great idea.

"I thought it would be a positive way to end the year and it will make the lucky winner very happy."

"I have worked hard all my life and put myself through university. I have my own house and a nice car and I thought if I raffle them, I could make someone else's life better with a £1 raffle entry.

"I purchased the house in January last year and it was on the market for £97,500. I have had damp proofing done, I revamped the house, re-decorated and have dramatically changed the garden."

She continued: "I threw the car in as well as an incentive. It is worth somewhere between £18,000 and £20,000. It would make a lovely prize to have a house and car.

"But you've got to be in it to win it.

"The raffle ends on November 30 but if all the tickets sell sooner then so will the raffle."

On the official Raffall website - where you can buy your ticket - Lauren wrote: "If you are my lucky winner, you will receive this well presented two bedroom semi-detached property, located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, along with a 2015 Range Rover Evoque Dynamic!

"The deal includes all legal fees and stamp duty.

"The property has been updated with modern deco throughout, with spacious rooms set out over two floors."
