Going on holiday is brilliant and going on holiday with your mates is even better. The only drawback is that it's just so expensive. So wouldn't it be great if you could get paid to do it?

Well, now you can, as the good folks over at Wowcher want to find someone to spend the year visiting every one of their 40 'Mystery Holiday' destinations, including Bali, New York and Dubai.

And they will pay the lucky candidate £25,000 to do it.

But if that wasn't enough, whoever gets the job as their new Travel Ambassador will also be able to take one of their pals to every place.

And what's more, if you get sick of one mate, you can swap them for another, as you can take a different friend to each spot.

You could get paid to travel the world.

No, this really isn't a joke. They are actually going to pay you to travel around the world, take photos and have a bloody brilliant time with your mates.

What more could you want?

A spokesperson for Wowcher said: "This opportunity of a lifetime would perfectly suit travel enthusiasts, graduates as well as budding social content creators, and all are encouraged to apply for this unique paid position.

"The ambassador will create unique content documenting their globetrotting which will receive extensive coverage across Wowcher's social channels.

"The job also offers the opportunity to take along a travel companion, who can be changed for each trip - meaning applicants would be able to take multiple friends along with them."

If you think this sounds like the job for you - so, pretty much everyone reading this - all you have to do is send them a 30-second video of yourself explaining why you are the perfect candidate for the position.

The lucky winner must also be aged 18 or over and have a valid passport.

And who knows, maybe you'll bump into two of Wowcher's most famous customers, Ben and Emily, who are about to head off on a trip of their own.

A day after the pair matched on dating app Bumble, student Ben went and booked two £99 tickets through the discount site and the pair were entered into a mystery holiday draw.

After a few days, Emily eventually agreed to go and they are now waiting to head off on an exotic trip.

So what are you waiting for? Go and apply.
