Bindi Irwin Has Given Birth To Her First Child With Chandler Powell

Bindi Irwin has given birth to her first child with Chandler Powell.

The 22-year-old daughter of late wildlife expert Steve Irwin welcomed her little girl, Grace, into the world yesterday (25 March) and shared the news to her Instagram account.

She said: "March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter.

"Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler's family dating back to the 1700s.

"Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior.

"Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad.

"There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed."

Earlier this year, Bindi recreated one of her mother's maternity photos ahead of her own daughter's arrival.

She posted a snap of Chandler kissing her baby bump, sharing it alongside an older picture of her and her father Steve kissing her mum Terri's pregnant belly prior to the birth of her younger brother Robert.

The caption read: "Recreating a very special moment. Third trimester love."

Her followers quickly piled into the comments to share their well-wishes with the happy couple.

One wrote: "Be right back, I'm crying now."

Another said: "Oh this is everything!!!!"

A third put: "Aww that's so cute."

Bindi and Chandler tied the knot in March last year in an intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo.

Posting on Instagram, Bindi said of the wedding: "We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend. There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now.

"Today we celebrated life and revelled in every beautiful moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens.

"Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad's memory. We shared tears and smiles and love."
