It was her only broadcast interview since Tiger King - and it was a prank

YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners have pulled off an incredible feat, by not only getting the world's first interview with Carole Baskin, but also by tricking her into thinking that she was being interviewed by Jimmy Fallon.

The pranksters got the enemy of the Tiger King, Carole Baskin on the series, where they pretend to get celebrities interviewed by chat show hosts - when really they're hiding behind the guise of a fake production company and using a soundboard with clips of talk show hosts asking questions to real celebrities.

Making the Tiger Queen, big cat advocate Carole's first broadcast interview, the pair reassured her that they would not speak about Netflix or Tiger King, and Carole joked she didn't want to be introduced as 'that b**** Carole Baskin'.

They explained the logisitics behind their trick, which involves the interviewee speaking into a webcam, while they make an excuse for the reason behind them not seeing the host themselves - something along the lines of 'they're being filmed with proper NBC cameras'.

They first get Carole to 'check the sound' by reeling off cats she looks after, and then she goes straight into the 'interview'.

Carole explains that her daughter wanted her to do the interview - I bet she regrets that now - and said that they are all together still caring for the cats. The pair even get her to do her famous: "Hey all you cool cats and kittens" intro.

People were amazed that they managed to pull it off.

One person commented saying: "I didn't think they could top the Katie Hopkins prank..."

Another replied: "This is literally the most impressive thing I've ever seen."

But, it seems that Carole got onto the fact she was being tricked.

Commenting below the video, she wrote: "This is the email I sent to my husband and daughter after the interview: "Well that was weird. I couldn't see Fallon during the interview, and when they had his voice on the questions they didn't sound like it was specific to the topic.

"He'd just say things they could have recorded from any other interview; like - what are you doing during Quarantine?

"At the end he said: "Miss you buddy," so that really didn't sound like it was live from him to me.

"They did stick to the questions they gave us, so I just can't tell. This whole thing may have been a spoof and they said they won't broadcast till next week, and will let us know before they do, but I'm not holding my breath."

Looks like there's no tricking our Tiger Queen, after all.
