Dad Pranks His Partner By Shaving Their Baby Girl's Head

You would think that once you've had a child, you would grow out of such juvenile behaviour as scaring the living daylights out of your partner.

Well, one dad who certainly didn't get the message was Joshua, who decided to give his missus the fright of her life when he woke her up from a - much-needed - nap to show her that he had shaved their baby daughter's head.

And, unsurprisingly, his partner Jasmin definitely did not see the funny side. At all.

But fortunately for us, the whole incident was filmed and shared to millions of people on Twitter for their enjoyment. So, there's that.

The viral clip shows the moment the horrified mum, from California, sees her daughter has just been scalped.

The video was posted with the caption: "The one time I ask him to watch her so I can sleep in and..."

In the distressing piece of footage, the clearly distraught Jasmin screams in utter disbelief before breaking down in tears as Joshua wets himself with laughter in the background.

A visibly shaken mother then tells her beau: "That's not funny." Before asking: "Why is she bald? Joshua, that's not funny."

But little baby Jazlyn doesn't seem to care about her new do, and can be seen smiling up at her mummy.

Since the clip was posted on social media, it has been watched more than 3.9 million times.

However, before you get too upset, according to Jasmin, it is Mexican custom to shave a baby's head when they are young.

It is said to help it to grow 'thicker and nicer'. The reason she became so irked by her daughter's new barnet - or lack thereof - was because the couple had yet to agree a time and place when they were going to cut her locks.

The mum said: "My daughter's father and I had agreed we were not going to do that until that day where I had asked him if he can watch her so I can sleep in a bit longer and he woke me up with that surprise.

"I was heartbroken because my baby went from a full head of hair to none at all, but as you can see she was not bothered one bit. Always such a happy baby."

But not all practical jokes go down as well as this one. Earlier this year, a YouTuber was slammed after filming himself sticking a wax strip to his wife's eyebrows.

Ouch.
