A clip of a Disneyland Gaston breaking character to tell off a woman for touching him has gone viral. You can see the video here:

In the clip, which was recently shared on Reddit, the man can be seen dressed in full costume as Gaston from the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast when a woman approaches him, seemingly to get a photo.

As she gets close to Gaston she makes a lunge for his chest and tries to grab him, but the man is less than impressed and quickly steps away, before telling the woman to 'get out'.

The woman appears to be unsure if he's being serious or not, so continues to smile at him and even leans in again to try and grab him, prompting the man to repeat 'out' before ordering her to 'leave' and telling her 'there's children'.

TikTok user @evansnead who urged people to: "Please do not be that person."

He went on to say the man dressed as Gaston was 'every bit in the right' to do what he did.

He added: "Just so you know, if you do harass the characters like that, more often than not, they're not going to play into it.

"They're not going to think it's cute.

"If you don't want a stranger going up to you, in public, at your place of work and putting their hands all over you then don't do it to the characters.

"The characters want you to have a great time and enjoy meeting them, but it is their place of work, it is a family place of business and they are also people."

The clip has sparked fury online with one Reddit user commenting: "Did the brain fairy forget to give her one that day?"

Another said: "I wonder how she imagined the situation would have played out?

"It's a Disney character from a child's movie."

Others commended the man for how he responded to the unwanted attention.

One wrote: "I love that Gaston did this because there certainly were kids watching and it shows a perfect example of what to do when someone touches you inappropriately."

While another said: "I'm glad he did what he did.

"Her sense of entitlement was real and I never say that lightly."
