Part of the anxiety around going to see your doctor is that you never know what they're going to find. I mean, they could pull out something that's been hiding in your ear for over 20 years... like they did with the woman in the video below:
Last month, Jordan took to social media and explained she had been feeling pretty run down and so went to see her doctor for a check-up.

But while she was expecting to get some medicine or the usual advice of 'drink plenty of fluids and rest', the 26-year-old was told she actually had something hiding in her ear.
Yikes.
In a video posted to her TikTok channel, Jordan says: "When you go to the doctor for a cold and they flush your ears out and find a surprise."
The clip then cuts to a photo of the item in question, a tube that had been trapped in her ear since she was four years old.
According to reports, Jordan had tubes inserted into her ears to aid with drainage back in 1999.

And while they're supposed to fall out by themselves, one chunk managed to cling one, becoming encased in a thick, grim layer of wax of the years.
Since she shared her story, the video has been viewed more than 749,000 times, with dozens of people piling into the comments.
And as well as the shock and disgust expressed by most, some have even shared their own tales of items lodged in their ears.
One person wrote: "Dude, no joke, the same thing happened to me. I found out because of a TikTok trend with the ear camera, and you could see it.
"I had the tubes put in when I was, like, 18. I'm now 27.

"I went to the ear, nose and throat doctor to get it taken out."
Another user said they could feel theirs moving around in their ear.
They said: "Had mine when I was four. One came out at 25... for a year before I could feel it clunking in my ear when I turned my head."
While yet another freaked out viewer said: "Omg I need to get mine removed."

When asked if she had suffered with any earache as a result of the tiny piece of tube, Jordan replied: "Nope.
"My ears would get muffled randomly, but I always assumed it was from allergies."
