Groom's Mistress Causes Havoc By Crashing Wedding Ceremony Wearing Bridal Dress

Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the most memorable days of your life. That said, the day itself is fraught with potential pitfalls: what if there's a problem with the catering, what if there's insufficient parking, what if your mistress rocks up in a wedding dress?

To be fair, if your mistress does rock up in a wedding dress, then the day is guaranteed to be very memorable indeed - as one couple found out.

The two then exchange a heated shouting match and some lady in a bright pink dress tries to assist the supposed groom.

Meanwhile, the guests can be heard whooping and cheering like Beyoncé has made a surprise appearance in the aisle (for the record, the mistress doesn't appear to be Beyoncé).

The footage was taken at a wedding in South Africa and shared on Twitter by user @nkokhi last summer. However, the video has recently snowballed, racking up 675,000 views and nearly 7,000 retweets.

The tweet read: "Side chick rocked up at the wedding also wearing a wedding dress groom trying to calm the situation."

It is unclear what the mistress was hoping to achieve. Was she trying to prevent the wife-to-be from making a mistake? Was she hoping the groom would have a last minute change of heart and marry her? Or did she just want to well and truly fuck him over?

Judging from the response to the video on Twitter, it seems many people supported her bold move.

One person wrote: "I hope every man that cheats, gets a side chick like this. Lmaoooo."

Another said: "I'd do the same. You ain't gonna waste my time like that."

A third added: "When you are not faithful to your partner well this is one of the dramas you should be ready to face."

Hopefully, the actual bride can take some comfort from the knowledge she is not the only one to have her big day ruined by a wedding-crasher.

So yeah, maybe don't feel so hard done by if you get a bit of drizzle on your big day.
