Kylie Jenner Has Brilliant Response To Being Knocked Off Instagram Top Spot By Egg

Proving that she's got a sense of humour, Kylie, 21, shared a meme about the whole thing to her Insta page showing her smashing up an egg and attempting to let it fry in the hot Calabasas weather. She captioned it: "Take that little egg". The short clip has had over 13 million views already, so Kylie needn't worry too much about losing her Insta-crown, she's still going viral.

The bizarre egg account - @world_record_egg - has just one upload, the stock image of an egg with the caption: "Let's set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this."

Since it hit the top spot, the account has changed its bio to: "Official world record holders of the most liked picture on Instagram. Now where is our blue tick."

It also shared a post on Instagram Stories in which it said: "This is a madness. What a time to be alive.

"Thank you so much for all of your support and messages. I'm gonna try and get back to as many of you as possible. But for now I need to sleep.

"It doesn't end here though, we're only just getting started.

"Mic drop."

The egg has 2.6 million followers on site, compared to Kylie's eye-watering 123 million, meaning the egg reaching the top spot all the more impressive.

As news of the account's achievement spreads the likes are still rolling in meaning it's going to be one egg that's hard to beat (again, sorry).

Kylie's former most popular pic - an image of her thumb being held by daughter Stormi, which was used to reveal the newborn's name - has since been flooded with egg-related comments. Isn't social media great?
