Man Gets Told Off By Boss For Addressing Client With 'Yes Big Man'

His boss overheard his familiar greeting and wasn't happy

When you know you're leaving a job, it's easy to let your standards slip. And one man got a telling off from his boss for being a touch too informal, addressing a client by saying: "Yes, big man."

I think we can all agree that it's not exactly the most professional approach to a greeting.

Not wanting to leave on bad terms, the guy's boss sent him an email following the encounter, informing him that this kind of thing was just not on, even if he wasn't going to be there much longer.

The email reads: "Hey Sam, As you are aware, we are one of the leading post production companies in London.

"It goes without saying that we expect a level of professionalism from all of our employees.

"Whilst I know you will soon be leaving the company, and we've always been satisfied with your etiquette when it comes to meeting clients, you can understand my frustration when I overhear you greet one of our clients using the phrase 'Yes, big man'.

"'Hello' or 'good morning' will suffice. Let's not end your employment on a bad note, shall we."

Since the photo was shared online, people have taken to backing the former employee for his relaxed approach.

Commenting on a post, one user said: "Bro if I'm ever successful and meet a company to invest or whatever. If the guy I'm talking to greets me as 'Yes big man' they've already won me over."

Echoing the positivity, another chimed in: "I worked at a gym and called so many members boss, buddy, bro, mate, darling, love."

While a third added: "I literally call my clients 'love' 'honey' 'sweetie'... And my boss hears it, of course not all clients, but when there is confidence why not?"

Now, say what you want about this lad being a little too familiar with clients, he's got nothing on the fella who decided to scare the living daylights out of his boss... every day.

A video showing a seemingly normal workplace was posted to TikTok with the caption: "Scaring my boss every day until 5k or I get fired."

He starts off with the classic - hide behind a door frame and jump out, giving his boss a little fright.

He goes on to dress as a T-Rex, which gets a little laugh - but you can tell his boss is beginning to get a bit sick of it.

The guy progresses, getting himself a portable confetti cannon.

He then starts to create contraptions to make his boss jump, including attaching a balloon to the back of the door, with a sharp object stuck to the wall it opens out on to
