Your wholesome content fix for the day involves this sneaky cat trying his hardest not to get caught after his student owner sneaked him into a class. Watch him here:

The one-year-old Munchkin cat, which are known for their short legs, is chilling in its owner's desk, looking like he's hoping to hide from the teacher.

Speaking to Mail Online, Ms Wen, his owner, said the cat wouldn't let her leave home without him, so she took him in with her.

The uni student, from Xi'an in north-western China, was getting ready for class when her cat, Ba Dun, started trying to snuggle up with her.

She said the needy pet kept cuddling her leg and 'looking really sad' because he wanted her to stay with him.

Ms Wen explained: "But I was running late for my class. I couldn't bear letting him down, so I brought him with me to the classroom."

But while Ba Dun was hiding in her desk, the student captured the scene, with her adorable cat lying there, trying to keep his glorious presence on the down low.

She added: "He was being really good and didn't make any sounds."

Ba Dun's name translates as 'eight meals' - and guess why? Because he has a big appetite. She joked: "He could definitely eat eight meals every day if I let him."

And Ba Dun must have been full-on ninja, given the lecturer never even noticed he was there. The plot was only uncovered when the video went viral online.

When posted on Chinese TikTok Douyin on Sunday (22 November), it quickly garnered more than 300 million views.

One social media user said: "Oh my god, does he realise how adorable he is?"

Another said: "Look at those big, curious eyes! He is studying hard as well."

In other feline news, a Canadian woman was shocked to see a stray cat she helped had not only survived, but also managed to produce a family and even brought her kittens to show them off.

Lisianne gave her tabby some food when she noticed a lonely animal was playing around in her garden in Quebec.

The feline grew quite attached to the woman and would return each day to get pats and some food. Their bond became so tight that Lisianne gave the cat a name: Usagi.

She noticed that the cat was getting bigger with each day and it dawned on her that she might be overfeeding the cat. However, little did she know that Usagi was pregnant.

Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local rescue group, explained in a Facebook post: "This lady with a big heart for this cause was watching her, she put food and water in order to help her... a routine has settled between this kitty and her good fairy.

"With this routine, the lady gained her confidence and the kitty started getting closer."

The cat eventually gave birth outside and Lisianne was delighted when Usagi brought her newborn kittens to her porch one by one.
