Someone’s Worked Out How To Replicate Domino’s Garlic And Herb Dip At Home
Someone has figured out how to make the god of all dips at home - the garlic and herb from Domino's - and it's actually really easy.
If you didn't realise that the dip has an army of fans, let it be known there are Facebook appreciation pages, change.org petitions to get the stuff sold by the litre and even campaigns so that it has a national day in its honour - it's got that kind of fan army.
As you can see from the video, it's not a difficult one, and doesn't really require many ingredients, but its beauty lies in its simplicity.
So you're going to need the following ingredients:
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1tsp oregano
- 1tbsp white wine vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic puree
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of sugar
And then, for those of us who are less capable when it comes to whipping up a storm in the kitchen, this bit will be like music to your ears.
All you do is get all of the ingredients together in a bowl, and then mix it all in thoroughly, making sure that everything is evenly coated. After that, you simply bang it in the fridge - this helps the flavours marry together and will give you a nicer texture. Job done.

The poster of the video also said that they made it a bit healthier than the normal Domino's one, adding that they wanted a version without the preservatives. They commented underneath the video saying that it's healthier, we're assuming in terms of chemicals rather than calories.
A lot of excited garlic and herb dip fans commented on the photo, but recreating genius will always attract a number of sceptics to your yard.
One person wrote: "Nopeeee no one's recreating the Dominos garlic & herb dip."
But the creator of the recipe wasn't taking it lying down, replying: "Haha! Have you made this one then? You may surprise yourself."
Someone else made a valid point, commenting that you can already get versions of it in bulk.
Another Domino's fan is clearly very keen to give it a go. They wrote: "High five mate, I'm on it, I'm after making homemade pizzas next weekend Inc homemade dough on the pizza stone in the kettle BBQ."
TikTok has once again served up the goods.
