​Subway Worker Filmed 'Hiding Evidence' After 'Putting Bacon In Vegetarian Sandwich'

A customer has filmed a Subway worker 'hiding evidence' after he apparently tried putting bacon into his vegetarian sandwich:

He said that when he tried to take a photograph of what had happened, the man tried to remove the evidence - only for Takalobighashi to storm behind the counter to find it stuffed into a silver container.

The caption read: "I CAUGHT THE @SUBWAY MAN MIXING BACON IN THE CHEESE THEN WHEN I WENT TO TAKE A PIC HE TRIED TO HIDE THE BACON BEHIND HIS BACK LOL.

He also advised anyone that is 'Muslim, vegetarian or allergic to bacon' to never eat at the Subway by Victoria Coach Station in London.

A spokesperson for Subway told the paper: "Serving quality food that meets our customers' expectations is our top priority.

"With a number of different ingredient options on display, products may accidentally fall into the wrong container, as was the case in this incident.

"Should this occur, sandwich artists would be instructed to remove and replace the entire container. The store's employees have been trained in the correct procedure."

Other Twitter users seemed equally outraged by the incident.

One person commented: "Well done for not turning a blind eye and respect for going behind the counter LOL."

Another said: "Why would someone do that wtf dude."

Someone else said: "Well done for confronting him."

"F*** eating there anymore," another wrote.

In the video Takalobighashi can be seen confronting the man, asking him: "Where did you put the bacon?"

He adds: "It was in the cheese wasn't it?"

As Takalobighashi goes behind the counter to prove it, the man is forced to respond: "Yes, yes."

In a later comment on the video Takalobighashi wrote: "Had to get him to admit it the little bacon fiddler lol."

It is not clear whether or not the bacon had been placed into the cheese sandwich intentionally or not.
