Anyone who's been on holiday to Majorca knows that there's no shortage of tattoo horror shows to be found in the mean streets of Magaluf after dark.

The latest victim of the island's tattoo-industrial complex is 18 year old Lauryn Bowie, whose plans for a tribute tat to her father were scuppered when the pain became too much to bear.

Lauryn, on holiday with a staggering 60 of her school friends following the end of 6th form, wanted to get a 'Bits n Pieces' tattoo on her foot as part of a homage to her DJ dad George Bowie's 2016 hit single of the same name.

However, after finally summoning up the courage to do the deed, Lauryn had to call it quits after the pain became too much for her to handle and asked the tattooist to stop halfway through, leaving her with only the word 'Bits' stuck awkwardly on her ankle.

However, GBX legend George ended up seeing the funny side of the whole ordeal, tweeting a picture of the blunder which immediately went viral and has gone down a treat with fans who wasted no time in roasting Lauryn for her blunder.

One user tweeted: "She must have got off on the wrong foot with him"

Another said "Maybe she prefers sole music instead?"

Meanwhile, a third suggested she could return to get the "and pieces" done on another drunken night out.

There was one sentiment that seemed to be on everyone's lips though, echoed by twitter user Ryan Gallacher- "Never mind that... how's she managed to get 60 mates to all go on the same holiday?!"
