Woman Reveals Skin Graft Left Her With Pubes Growing Out Of Her Finger

A woman has revealed she has pubes growing out of her finger. Yep. Let that thought percolate for a second.

American TikTok user Rae recently took part on an internet challenge of sharing the 'really weird things their bodies do and they're not sure if anyone else's does'.

Discussing the condition, Rae explained that she had a skin graft when she was younger, which left her with curly strands of hair protruding from the end of her digit.

In a video shared to her account, Rae said she had been encouraged to open up about it by a friend who told her it was finally her 'time to shine'.

She said: "When I was two years old, my mum slammed a door shut on my finger. It ripped off the top of my finger and this was back in the 1990s so I got a skin graft."

A skin graft is where doctors take a piece of skin from one part of the body, usually the arm or leg, and use it to cover the injury, helping it heal over time.

But due to her age, specialists decided to take skin from her bikini line instead as they didn't want the scar to stretch.

However, things started to go a bit wrong when Rae hit puberty and noticed that hairs were growing from her finger - which went down a storm with kids at school.

She said: "When I hit puberty and I started growing hair down there, I also started growing hair on my finger.

"Kids found that out in school and started calling me 'Coochie-Finger'."

And if that's not enough, when her finger was healing, Rael got her cast wet, which caused her finger to change colour.

"I dunked my hand instead the toilet and it got wet inside the cast so my finger healed wrong and it turned brown which is really weird," she added.

Since sharing her rather intimate tale, it has been viewed more than five million times, with people left with more questions than answers.

Commenting on the video, one person said: "It's surprising doctors didn't know this would happen."

Another joked: "Soooooo we all just saw a little of your... jay jay."

"You dunked it in toilet water, for what reason?" asked a third.

While another added: "But why is no one talking about the fact her mom slammed a door on her finger?"
