Body Modification Enthusiast Spends Around £400 Getting A Set Of Tusks

He's committed, you've got to give him that

A man who is obsessed with body modifications has splashed out a fair chunk of money to have some honest-to-God tusks added to his teeth.

The man, who quite fittingly calls himself Orc, has spent much of his life tattooing about 80 percent of his body, and has now spent about £400 to have two giant pointy teeth added onto his own.

The 41-year-old hails from the tiny town of Iguatemi on the border between Paraguay and Brazil, and says that he got his first tattoo at the tender age of just 15.

He then moved into body modification at 35, and plans to continue on into the future.

Orc has a number of subdermal piercings - piercings inserted under the skin - as well as tattooed eyeballs and a split tongue.

Despite the fact that a load of people think he looks really weird, he insists that he's only being himself, which is all any of us can do, really.

He explained: "I am trying to be myself, these are just my ideas, my inspirations coming from the heart.

"I am not inspired by anyone."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Orc said that he receives quite a bit of attention for his - let's say - unique look.

However, despite what you might think, most of the comments are apparently positive.

He continued: "They tell me good things that motivate me to continue.

"Bad people exist everywhere and are always around... but they don't shake me."

He's obviously proud of his style and the way he's made himself look, but he did say that his family and friends haven't been quite as supportive of some of his decisions.

Orc added: "I was raised in Campo Grande [a city in central Brazil] by my parents.

"My mum doesn't like it, my dad tolerates it and my friends find it weird."

But hey, a little disapproval here and there isn't going to stop him from living the life he wants to live. After all, he's had the work done already, so he can't really turn back the clock now.

He plans to continue on with getting tattoos and body modifications, and to hell with what anyone else might think about it.

It's actually quite a positive attitude to have, when you think about it.

He concluded: "Live, be happy, travel, love. Do whatever you want.

"Life goes by fast and death is certain."

That's certainly true, my man. You do you.
