Like most people, I've fallen asleep on the couch. It happens. You're binge-watching another episode of Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and before you know it you're fast asleep dreaming about paella and under-cooked chicken.
For this couple, their TV programme was Mr Robot. That's not particularly important in the story but this is creepy enough for me to never watch that show for the rest of my life.

Jordan Buranskas and her boyfriend, Jack Mackercher, woke up after their unscheduled nap to find that Jordan's purse had gone missing.
They checked the CCTV in their front room (because for some reason they like to keep an eye on their dogs when they're not home) and found the following footage of a burglar watching them sleep for 15 minutes.
First of all, where the fuck were the dogs?! Surely, one of their main purposes (apart from being the best company on the planet) is to protect their owners from shenanigans like this?!

Secondly, what kind of burglar just takes a purse?
Anyway. Jack told Chicago's daily WGN9NEWS: "I'm like, 'Why are you at the top of the stairs wearing a white hoodie before we went to bed?' She (Jordan) is like: 'I wasn't at the top of the stairs.'
"So that's when you go flush and start to freak out a little bit."
Jordan added: "He stood there for about five minutes the first time then walked away, then came back and hovered over us again for another five minutes."

The couple are hoping that he was just watching the TV after getting in through an upstairs window rather than watching them sleep - but I guess we'll never know.
Creepy.
