An actress in Germany has said she's recently wed a doll and the pair already have a little plastic baby together.

Chethrin Schulze, 28, showed off her 'new husband' Cedric on social media this week saying she decided to get the doll to keep her company after becoming bored during lockdown.

She also shared footage of a 'baby', called Hanneore, saying the fake youngster will stay out of the public eye.

But, according to local media, the whole stunt was Chethrin's way of having a pop at influencers and celebrities who enjoy parading their offspring online and sharing every detail of their lives.

Chethrin, who appeared on the German version of Love Island, showed off the doll and joked about getting her pre-pregnancy body back.

She added: "I don't want my child to grow up in the camera lens."

At one point in the clip she also warned Hannelore to give up any hope of getting a career as a teacher or doctor as the baby doll will need to take over his mum's Instagram and YouTube accounts in the future.

She said: "You better accept it now."

It's not thought that her posts were aimed at anyone in particular but were a general criticism of influencers who cash in on the interest of their children.

Chethrin's post comes just weeks after bodybuilder Yuri Tolochko married his sex doll/long term partner Margo.

Yuri 'proposed' to the doll in December last year but their unusual nuptials were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Before their big day, Yuri said he splashed out on some cosmetic surgery for his doll after she became self-conscious about her looks.

Speaking at the time, he said: "When I presented her photo to the world, there was a lot of criticism and she began to develop a complex so we decided to have plastic surgery.

"She has changed a lot. At first it was hard to accept, but I got used to it later on. It was at a real clinic with real doctors."

Opening up about his bride, he added: "She can't walk by herself; she needs help. Margo doesn't know how to cook, but she loves Georgian cuisine. Her favourite dish is 'khinkali'.

"She swears, but there is a tender soul inside."

If you say so, pal.
