Hackers Play Porn On Big Screen At Asics Store For Two Hours

A big screen at an Asics store got way more attention than it normally would after hackers played porn on it for two hours.

The porno played at a store in Auckland, New Zealand, on Sunday morning and presumably got pedestrians well in the mood for church.

Dwayne Hinagano, a security officer who witnessed the screening, said people's reactions seemed to vary.

Speaking to the New Zealand Herald, he said: "It's not something anyone who comes to Queen St early on Sunday morning would expect.

"The video ran for a long time, maybe two hours from 8am until the shop staff arrived at about 10am. Some people were shocked, but others just stopped and watched."

Tanya Lee was presumably not one of the people who stopped and watched, as she was on her way to have breakfast with her seven-year-old son. The 29-year-old said she was offended by the morning porn and would accept no less than an apology and an investigation by the sports store.

She said: "I took a second look because I just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"It's totally inappropriate and offensive, not something that you want kids exposed to and it's also embarrassing for Auckland as a tourist destination."

Another witness even claimed the porn had been playing since as early as 1am, though presumably no children were out and about to witness it at this time.

Asics New Zealand confirmed that the big screen porno was the result of a hacking, and not some kind of risque marketing ploy.

In a post on Facebook, it said: "This morning an unknown person gained access to the screens above our Central Auckland store and some objectionable content was displayed on the screens.

"We would like to apologise to anyone who may have seen this. We are working with our software and online security suppliers to ensure this doesn't happen again."

Well, the hackers certainly put Asics Central Auckland on the map anyway.

Last month, a 'well dressed pervert' was accused of exposing young people to porn after he watched extreme films in a public library.

Don't watch hardcore porn in the library folks.

The fairly brazen browsing session took place in Crawley Library, UK, and witness Chris Winfield reported him to staff.

He said: "He was very well dressed, had clean clothes - he wasn't the stereotypical weirdo pervert.

"There were loads of children and young adults in the library at the time standing nearby and looking at books. It's vile to do something so brazen and graphic in front of children."
