A group of women set up a hilarious Depop account to sell their used clothes, complete with 'puke' and 'curry' stains.

Megan Brennan, 19, from Ballon in Carlow, Ireland, decided to set up a Depop account two years ago to sell her clothing.

This dress is 'good for catching a lad's eyes, as you can see'.

In the final days of her Leaving Certificate Examination (the final exam at Irish secondary schools), Megan and her friends were feeling stressed out and decided to transform her Depop page into a prank account.

They compiled their most hilarious moments throughout the years and presented the clothing they wore for sale.

Megan said of this hoodie: 'Literally have worn this for days straight without showering.'

One of the photos featured Megan in a green outfit with a curry stain during her holiday in Santa Ponsa.

Another picture showed her friend Nicole wearing a pink silk outfit lying on a sofa after celebrating their graduation night.

The outfits retailed for as much as 99€ (£85/$109) and despite it being a joke, Meghan received several offers on the clothes.

She said: "I initially had it for the same reason as everyone else, to buy and sell things! But then one of days leading up to the leaving cert, my friends and I were all sitting around so stressed.

"I uploaded a funny picture of one of my friends just to lighten the mood and I guess it started from there. Everyone thought it was hilarious so I would find hilarious photos throughout the year of me and my friends and throw them up."

Pyjama bottoms were described as having 'easy access for bum scratching'.

She continued: "I put the prices really high so that people won't actually buy the items, because some of them I'm not even selling! It was purely a joke. But yes, I have had some ridiculous offers which is surprising because I know I wouldn't pay money for a dress 'with a small curry stain'."

Her account was recently featured in a Twitter post by @tescowines, which has since gone viral, gaining over 15.8K likes.

Megan didn't realise her account was so widely shared until she received tons of messages from people telling her funny they found the account.

She said: "For the last few months a few people have seen my account and text to say they found it hilarious. But it wasn't until yesterday when someone tweeted about it that heaps of messages have come in to say how hilarious people find it.

"I get loads of messages saying how it's hilarious with one girl saying it is 'the best depop account ever'. I have got no bad comments about the Depop, bar maybe a few of my embarrassed friends!

"They all see the funny side to it, my friends find it absolutely hilarious.. bar when it's a picture of them!"

LADbible has approached Depop for a comment.
