Two Pilots Report Mysterious UFO While Flying Near New Mexico

Two pilots flying on separate planes have reported seeing a UFO as they flew over Arizona last month.

Audio clips of the pilots speaking to an air traffic controller reveals that the two men had spotting a craft that 'wasn't an aeroplane', as they flew new to the Arizona/New Mexico border between 3.30pm and 4.14pm local time on 24 February.

The sighting was about 500 miles from Roswell, New Mexico, which is famed for its 1947 'UFO crash', so naturally, many people are now convinced this is proof of aliens.

The mysterious craft was initially reported by a pilot of a Learjet, who put a call in to the Albuquerque Centre air traffic control after seeing 'something' over his plane. However, nothing appeared on radar.

In the clip he can be heard saying: "I don't know what it was. It wasn't an airplane, but it was, the path was going the opposite direction."

The call prompted the air traffic controller to call the second pilot, who was flying for American Airlines, to ask him to let them know if he spotted anything flying overhead.

A few minutes later, he called back and said: "Something just passed over us, like a... don't know what it was, but at least two, three thousand feet above us. Yeah it passed right over the top of us."

He was then asked: "Could you tell if it was in motion or if it was just hovering?"

To which the pilot replied: "I couldn't make it out if it was a balloon or whatnot, but it was just really beaming light or had a big reflection and several thousand feet above us going the opposite direction."

He was asked if it could possibly have been a 'Google balloon', and responded: "Doubtful."

And this point, the coolest man in the air traffic control office piped up to say: "A UFO!"

Lynn Lunsford from the FAA told KOB 4: "We don't have any comment beyond what you hear. Other than the brief conversation between two aircraft, the controller was unable to verify that any other aircraft was in the area.

"We have a close working relationship with a number of other agencies and safely handle military aircraft and civilian aircraft of all types in that area every day, including high-altitude weather balloons."

A top-secret cover up for aliens or weather balloons, what do you think?
