Louis Vuitton Is Selling A Range Of Ridiculously Expensive Fitness Equipment

$2,200, for a set of ping pong bats. Very reasonable.

During the time that we're all stuck in lockdown, there's a few ways that people have decided to approach the time we've got to ourselves now.

You could start on that creative project you've always dreamed of, or not. You could try to whip yourself into peak physical shape, or not.

Basically, you can do whatever you want, and that's fine. That includes buying this range of ridiculously expensive workout equipment that is being made by fashion house Louis Vuitton.

So, if you fancy copping a set of dumbbells that cost $2,700 (£2,158) or a skipping rope that will set you back $670 (£536) that that's totally fine, too.

Louis Vuitton

Of course, you're going to need to look good when you're exercising in or outside your own house with nobody else there to see you, aren't you?

To be fair, the dumbbells are on sale on their UK website for £1,730. That's a bargain, really.

The dumbbells, despite being remarkably expensive, actually only weigh around six pounds - see what we did there? - so they probably aren't going to turn you into Vin Diesel, either.

That said, perhaps only people who earn as much money as Vin Diesel or Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson can afford them, so maybe this is their secret.

If you want to read what Louis Vuitton has to say about their product, here you go.

"These Dumbbells have a striking aesthetic and sporty appeal.

"They are an ideal gift for those who wish to exercise in style or elevate their home gym with exclusive Louis Vuitton details.

"Each weight, made from lustrous metal, is finished with an eye-catching Monogram Eclipse canvas handle and House signature engravings."

If pumping expensive iron isn't for you, then there are a few other products out there for the ridiculously loaded fitness freaks.

There's a $2,700 volleyball.

Of course, you'll need a volleyball court or a massive back garden, but you've definitely got one if you're buying these in the first instance.

Speaking of which, there's also a $2,200 (£1,759) ping pong kit, which doesn't come with a table. It's just two bat in a Louis Vuitton branded carry case, with what appears to be something that clips on for you to hold four ping pong balls in.

Louis Vuitton

Jeez, let's hope they at least give you a pack of balls as well.

Just remember - whatever you choose to do during the lockdown, that's fine. As long as you're staying inside and minding your own business, that's totally fine.

Stay safe, everyone.
