Man Claims To Have Charles Manson's Ashes Tattooed Into His Forehead

As you do

A man who describes himself as a Charles Manson 'fanatic' has reportedly had the cult leader's ashes tattooed into his own forehead in the shape of an X.

Patrick Boos, who also has 'Helter Skelter' tattooed on his face in honour of the notorious serial killer, paid $600 (£430) for the pair of unusual ink pieces, and says that it was a 'once in a lifetime opportunity' that was simply too good for him to pass up.

The 45-year-old describes Manson as a 'prophet' and claims that he paid tattoo artist Ryan Almighty to perform the task of tattooing the ashes into his head after he acquired them from a former friend of Manson.

He told VICE: "It's weird that Charles is a part of me now.

"The tattoo was a once in a lifetime opportunity to me. A piece of history."

Boos, who is married and lives in New York, continued: "I think people are fascinated by how the typical serial killer's mind works, or why they did it.

"We really don't know if Charles Manson did anything other than being a cult leader - he may have sent others to kill, but he claims he had nothing to do with it. It's weird that Charles is a part of me now. Kinda creepy, I guess."

Yeah, kinda creepy just about sums it up.

Luckily, Boos has admitted that he doesn't want to be like Manson, and said that he's just a 'nobody' who prefers to spend his time at home with his family more than anything else.

He went on to add that he just has a penchant for 'weird and bizarre things'.

Such as tattoos about serial killers in the middle of his head, I guess.

Manson died in prison at the age of 83 back in 2017, after spending a long time behind bars for his role in the murders of seven people, including Hollywood actor Sharon Tate.

At the time of his death, he was incarcerated in Corcoran State Prison, after he and his 'Manson Family' cult ran amok in California in the late 1960s.

Manson was sentenced to nine life sentences for the seven deaths. Others in his following were Leslie Van Houten, Susan Atkins, Charles 'Tex' Watson, and Patricia Krenwinkle.

They were all convicted and sentenced to jail time for their roles in the murders as well.

Whether anyone wants to get their ashes tattooed into their foreheads is a matter for another day.
