A man got bored waiting for the bomb squad to come and check out a suspicious package, so decided to give it a go himself before being spectacularly taken down by police.
I can't work out if he's very brave or very stupid - maybe he's both. I mean, no one likes being kept in suspense, but generally speaking, I think when it comes to potential bomb disposal it's a good idea to leave it to the experts.
The bizarre incident began at 7am on Monday when a bag was spotted on top of an electrical box in Milwaukee, prompting a concerned member of the public to call the police.
Police arrived at the scene and moved the bag from the box and sealed off the area, before making a call to the bomb squad.
However, one passer-by wasn't keen on waiting and took matters into his own hands, strolling over and tipping out the contents of the bag - which turned out to be some clothes and a bottle of water.
He then casually dropped the bag back down before being tackled to the ground by a number of pissed-off cops - and it was quite the takedown.
The man was then seen being placed in handcuffs before he was taken into custody, as passers-by explained they feared he was 'going to get blown up' as a result of his foolhardy actions.
One eyewitness told TMJ4: "He rode past me and he was saying, 'I'm going to defuse this situation.'
"I was concerned for everyone still around but really concerned for him. He was not acting in his right mind. If I would have saw him coming down the sidewalk earlier, I would have tried to stop him. It's a scary situation.
"You don't know if it's a bomb or backpack. When he went and did it, I thought, 'Oh no. It's not going to end well. It's going to end bad.'"

Police have not released any further information about the incident as yet.
