A team of designers have unveiled plans for an incredible £450 million ($597m) mega-yacht:

The boat, which stretches over 500 metres in length, has pools on three different levels as well as enough space for three helicopters and eight jet skis.

Dubbed the 'Prodigium', the yacht was inspired by Roman architecture and has been given fins at the side as well as an upper living space that resembles a shark.

The carbon and aluminium vessel also has a 'private port' area at its rear which is able to house 'smaller' yachts of up to 30 metres.

There are two garages as well as two extendable terraces (the fins), these add seven metres on each side to the width of the 34 metre wide boat.

A spokeswoman for the designers, Lazzarini Designs, told The Sun: "Prodigium is the second of the nature inspired mega yacht that Mr. Lazzarini is developing the first took its inspiration from a swan.

"Our latest design takes its inspiration from ancient Roman architecture and parts are also inspired by the shape of sharks."

Another one of Lazzarini Design Studio creations is called Xenos - a super yacht offering next level luxury... oh and a free Bugatti Chiron.

Xenos will cost around $32.8 million25m), but for your cash, you'll not only get a top of the range yacht, you'll also get yourself one of the fastest and most powerful cars available.

Designed by Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini, the yacht, which he dubs a 'hyperyacht' can reach speeds of 90 knots, making it the fastest 130-footer in the world. Well, it's the least you'd expect for that price, I suppose.

Measuring 130 feet (39.6 meters) in length and 26 feet (8 meters) in width, the new boat design is crafted from carbon and aluminium and features integrated solar panels.

Conveniently, for these scary times, it's full of Covid-19 safety features including an air sanitation recycling system, thermal scanners which will help to monitor temperatures and UV-C/UV-V germicidal lamps, according to robbreport.com.
