Pornhub Reports Huge Increase In Searches For 'The Grinch' And 'Santa'

Some people out there are just not right. Some people are just impressionable. It turns out that some people are actually both.

The latest data from the people over at Pornhub Insights - they do some fascinating work figuring out what makes people tick, if you catch my drift - suggests that even people looking for five quick minutes of 'me time' are feeling festive as well as frisky.

It's not exactly what you'd expect, though. Apparently searches on the world's most popular pornography site for things like 'The Grinch XXX' and 'Bad Santa' are massively up in recent weeks.

You sick, sick, twisted people, you.

Obviously - in accordance with Rule 34 (if it exists, there is porn of it) - this is a thing, and the internet has, as ever, got your back.

Yes, you can already watch Grinch porn. The real question is why on earth you would want to do that.

That's nothing compared to the amount of Santa Claus related pornography that exists out there. There are more than 1,200 vids currently on the site featuring Good Ol' St. Nick.

Back to The Grinch, though.

The uptick in interest appears to have coincided with the release of the film The Grinch starring Benedict Cumberbatch back in November 2018. In the past month, since the release of that particular film, there have been 2.5m searches for Grinch related terms.

That's in comparison with 'only' 955,000 Santa Claus keyword-relevant searches.

There's still a few more days in that Santa search data though, he's got time to catch up.

In fact, on 19 November when the movie hit the theatres, searches for The Grinch or similar increased by 3313%. It hit a high-water mark on 3 December when search instances were increased by 3452%.

And we wonder why the world is ending before our very eyes?

Popular search terms since then have included 'Grinch XXX Parody', 'Grinch Porn', and 'El Grinch'.

El Grinch? If Spanish language porn centred around The Grinch is your thing, you have some seriously niche interests, my friend.

With regards to Santa searches, they have included such gems as 'Black Santa', 'Santa Fucks Elf', and 'Santa Girl'.

Jesus, guys. Christmas is supposed to be a religious holiday.

Anyway, this is hardly an isolated incident. The exact thing happened after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, and Avengers: Infinity War.

I guess this is just the world we live in now. Unfortunately.
