'This Morning' Viewers Shocked By 'Bridezilla' Who Got Married Five Times To The Same Guy

She had five weddings, 13 dresses, and asked guests to fork out £2,500 for her weddings

Viewers of ITV's This Morning have been left in disbelief after hearing the story of the bride who has been married five times to the same man in five different locations at a cost of around £70,000 ($92,100).

I mean, a wedding day is supposed to be special, but the reality is that you get one day and you're supposed to be happy with that, even if it doesn't all go quite as you expect, because at the end of it you're married to the person you love.

Not so for Sandra Igwe. Everything had to be exactly right, and she was kicking off if it wasn't

The two weddings were held in Nigeria, and guests were obliged to fork out around £2,500 ($3,300) to attend. So far, so normal, right?

The third was a beach wedding, the fourth - strangely - was at a registry office in Coventry, and the fifth and final wedding day was a huge lavish ceremony at Grosvenor House in London.

Keep up with that? No? Well, that's fine, because it'll never happen to most of us.

Speaking on This Morning, Sandra said that she doesn't feel bad about dragging her friends and family around the globe to attend her many wedding days because she feels as if they should support her and, you know, just do it.

Of course.

Oh, and once you get there, you're supposed to do anything that she asks. If that means getting off the dancefloor, you get off the dancefloor; if that means you dress to a blue and silver dress code, you get the picture.

To try and explain her standpoint, Sandra said: "From a young age us girls plan the biggest day of our lives so when the time came I wanted to have the perfect wedding.

"I thought, ''I want it here, I want it there and there,' and I thought, ''Why can't I have what I always dreamed of?'

My stock answer would be 'because life's a shithouse and we can't have everything we want' but clearly Sandra has different ideas.

Of the cost to her friends and family, she added: "If you care about somebody, you love them, then why would you not be there for such a significant day in their life? So, I don't feel guilty.

"I would do the same, I have done the same, so I think it's fine."

Sound reasoning. Can't argue with that.

Viewers of the show haven't been perhaps as nice as they could have been about Sandra's shenanigans:

That said, some defended her. I mean, each to their own, right?

True story. Although I suspect she'd have tried if she had that option.
