Some people have real, great friendships but none of them are as special between a man and his dog. Even more special, if it's another person's dog.
We may never know what it is about the bond between a human and a dog that's so heartwarming. Maybe it's that two things that can't even talk to each other can be so close, and that one is furry and has four legs.

Whatever, Animal Science can be saved for another day, for now here's a mailman who is buddies with a massive German Shepherd-type thing. This shatters the notion that mailman and dog have been enemies for longer than Israel and Palestine.
The video was shared by Michael Collins of New Zealand on Facebook (via Mashable).
In the post, Collins wrote that it's extra special because most people are fucking terrified of the fluffy beast. He wrote: "He always gets over looked as a dangerous or unapproachable dog."

Collins still has no clue what the mailman's name is and I am also unsure why he's dressed like a jockey. Is that mailman uniform in New Zealand? If so, I'd probably find another job ASAP.
