This Bath Bomb Is Designed To Look Like A Shark Attack

A company has designed a bath bomb that looks like a shark attack and we are totally down with getting back in the water.

Dun dun. Dun dun. Dun dun, dun dun. Dun dun, dun du...you get the idea. It's the iconic Jaws theme tune, which remains one of the most recognisable pieces of film music ever.

If you ever wanted to recreate a shark attack scene in your bathtub - and who hasn't, frankly? - then you're in luck. You can now enjoy the terror of everyone's favourite shark movie, Jaws, while indulging in a bubblegum-scented bath bomb inspired by the movie.

Etsy shop BubbleMania specialises in a whole host of kooky, quirky bath bombs, but their latest really takes a bite out of the competition. The large JAWS Attack bath bomb comes complete with shark jaws and teeth - lots of teeth - and is designed to look like a bloody shark attack when dropped in water.

They're not cheap, selling at $9.75 each plus postage, but they do look pretty damn cool. To paraphrase the classic Steven Spielberg film - you're going to need a bigger bath. OK, that didn't really work. Ahem.

Based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name, which was published the year before, Jaws starred Roy Scheider as police chief Martin Brody, who has to battle a stubborn mayor and angry, irate residents of Amity Island after a monster shark begins stalking the waters during peak holiday season. As we all know, carnage ensues.

Released in 1975, Jaws remains one of the best films ever made - about sharks or otherwise. Also starring Robert Shaw as drunken shark hunter Quint and Richard Dreyfuss as oceanographer Matt Hooper, as well as Murray Hamilton as Mayor Larry Vaughn and Lorraine Gary as Brody's wife, its script was co-written by Benchley and Carl Gottlieb.

It was a huge box office success and spawned three sequels. The first, Jaws 2, was actually pretty decent, too. But after that they got a bit ridiculous and nowhere near as good.

Not as ridiculous as this year's underwater action flick The Meg, which stars Jason Statham trying to save the world from the Megalodon, a 75-foot-long prehistoric shark. Which, as over-the-top as it sounds, is still kind of terrifying. We'll take the bath bomb.
