President Of Company Takes Everyone On A Cruise For Working Hard

President Of Company Takes Everyone On A Cruise For Working Hard

But they must work harder, HARDER, HARDER!!!!!!!

Luckily, at TheLADbible, every day is a fun day. Utterly amazing. The two of us sit in our bedrooms in our respective mum's houses and think of how to entertain you on a daily basis.

However, this daily merriment is nothing on this Iowa-based company, Bertch Cabinets, which has taken all 800 of its staff on a cruise.

Gary Bertch, the president of the company, wanted to thank them all in his own inimitable fashion and decided this was the best way to do it.

He explained that it should mean the staff can work EVEN HARDER next year. The Carnival cruiser will stop in Cozumel, Mexico and Key West, Florida.

He explained: "We've got four charter aircraft that will be flying directly to Miami Sunday and staying at a nice five-star hotel. Then on Monday, we'll bus over from the hotel to the port and load up on the ship."

"We just tried to get all of our people pumped up a little more to achieve the various goals, both customer-oriented goals and financial goals. We're happy we were able to achieve our goals. And they're never easy. The financial goal was the big one. We hit the other goals. Not by much. But we hit them. We're looking forward to the following year."

Yeah, I know, a cruise might not be the best choice of holiday ever, but it's free. I was once a lawn bowls expert on a cruise in Norway (true story), and I was the second youngest person on the boat. I asked the other young person what she was doing there and she explained she was with her great nana who was on her last holiday before she pushed up daisies. Other than that, the next youngest person on the ship was a walking advert for Sterodent.

It is now, at this point, where I feel the need to explain we're not just two guys in a bedroom and actually a pretty large media group, all who would be happy to have a holiday on the company.

What do you reckon, Josh, Saam? Yep... yeah, we're up for it.
