Fancy making your Monday even more insufferable? Then look at this optical illusion until you book yourself a one-way ticket to North Korea where you'll never have the Internet connection to fret over something like this ever again.
On first glance, it's a couple of blocks before a mirror.

But the reflection's off, isn't it? The fuck's all that about?
Rather than a squared block reflection, the untrained eye sees a set of cylinders.
It's been driving people nuts, naturally, after being posted on Reddit.
One person wrote: 'I just kept saying "what the f***?" over and over, getting progressively louder'.

What's the secret then? Well, Devon, from 3D printing company Make Anything, revealed the trick.
As he takes away the model 'square' away from the mirror, we find out that one side is shaped like a square, while the other is shaped like a circle.

He adds the real shape is a mix of circle and square and that one side is curved upwards, while the other one is sloped downwards.
The opposing side heights then 'corrects' their difference, blending it back into a square or circle when the true shape is right in between.
Science.
