The estranged husband of actor Jim Carrey's late girlfriend, who is suing the comedian over her death, has released bizarre screenshots of Christmas text messages.
It appears the Hollywood star allegedly talks about his penis in the same breath as discussing recently deceased family members.
Burton is suing Carrey for allegedly supplying his depression-suffering wife, Cathriona White, with pills she took as part of a fatal overdose in September 2015.
The woman's husband, Mark Burton, said: "Jim Carrey's public persona is a fraud.
"In reality he is a guy who texts about his cock in the same breath as deceased loved ones at Christmas."
The text exchange shows a picture of a candle burning on a hearth, with Carrey commenting on the family's tradition of burning candles in memory of late relatives.
Carrey then allegedly asked his girlfriend: "Have you seen my cock today?" He then added that he was worried she might be pregnant.
"You haven't let your pill laps [sic] at all since we were apart have you sweety?" he asks in a text message. "Sorry I just have a concern because it was a little carefree tonight. You can get a morning after pill if there's any question."
Through his attorney, Michael Avenatti, Burton has released a copy of the December 2012 text message exchange.
The attorney said: "We have located nearly every text message, picture and email between them over the last four years by conducting a forensic examination of electronic media. The evidence will show that Carrey and his handlers are not shooting straight with the media or the public."

It has also been alleged that Carrey infected White with Herpes 1, Herpes 2 and gonorrhea.
