Such a nice guy.

A lad who saw a homeless woman being refused service in McDonald's was so upset he invited her and her friend back to his and cooked for them.

The big-hearted Welshman was on a night out in Cardiff when he decided to pop into McDonald's. While he was waiting to be served he saw a lady turned away after asking for a cup of hot water.

Taking to Facebook to share his experience, Jonathon Pengelly wrote that, "the lady, clearly homeless, was asking for a basic human right." So, he stepped in, paid for her food, and sat with her and her friend outside.

After chatting to them and finding out they were 'so full of life and enthusiasm' Jonathon decided to invite the pair back to his where he cooked for them, let them shower, brush their teeth and gave them pillows, blankets and a back pack full of food.

His original post has been shared over 41,000 times and had more than 180,000 likes.

A McDonald's spokesperson told the Metro that the woman was denied service due to a previous incident, not because she was homeless.

She said: "There is no McDonald's policy to ban or refuse to serve homeless people. Working with the local police, our Cardiff stores have had to ban a number of individuals due to illegal and anti-social behaviour which is why this individual was denied entry to the store."
