A man who awoke from a coma to the news that his girlfriend was expecting their first child filmed himself breaking the news to his family.
The heartwarming clip, which was uploaded to Facebook, shows Arron Honzik sharing the good news just one week after he was in a car crash that very nearly killed him.
Arron, 25, was in a road traffic accident on 4 October and was placed in a medically induced coma by medics after suffering spinal injuries and then having a bad reaction to anaesthetic.
His girlfriend Chloe told Arron he was going to be a dad in a card, where she told him that he needed to get better because 'we need you home' - she signed the card, 'love, Bump'.
Chloe told the Gazette Live: "I'm only around six weeks but we've been trying for ages.
"It's given us all something to look forward to. I can't believe it. It's a total miracle."
Doctors have warned Arron that he may have suffered life-changing injuries, but Arron is determined to get better.
The clip of Arron telling his family has 82,000 views and over three thousand likes.
