A Woman Has Complained To John Lewis Because Its Advert Is 'Too Black'

It's 2016. In fact, it's almost 2017, so this idiot who took to Twitter to criticise the latest John Lewis advert for being 'too black' really needs to educate herself.

The woman/troll got absolutely torn to shreds on social media after posting that she 'feels strongly' about the fact that the department store shows a black family. Katie, or K69atie to give her official name, claims she is British but doesn't currently live in the UK, which makes her bizarre, racist rant all the more confusing.

She also uploaded a screenshot of the complaint she sent to John Lewis, which reads: "I have to say your 'Christmas' ad is wrong in so many ways. The music is miserable, by a black singer and you show a black family. We white Brits are STILL the majority in the UK it seems you want no mention of our traditions of Christmas or music etc. Very disappointing that you seem to be unaware of the resentment which is building in the UK much of it due to adverts like this. The irony is, this feedback will probably not even be read by a Brit...how I grieve for my culture and country."

What a whopper.

The John Lewis advert has somehow become the symbol of the start of Christmas and it's usually just some heart-warming crap designed to get us spending. How someone can turn an advert about a little girl getting a trampoline into a race issue is beyond me. FFS.
