Chaos As X Factor Stage Invaders Storm Onto Honey G Set

Honey G was left shaken by the after the X Factor was stormed by three men after her performance of MC Hammer's 'Can't Touch This' tonight.

Simon Cowell came to her aid as the men approached her from the audience, with one lunging at the rapper, as he attempted to remove her trademark hat and sunglasses.

Audience members said one of the men also tried to snatch the microphone away from her, the Sun reported.

Simon went on to apologise to Honey after the invasion, telling her: "I'm so sorry about that, are you ok?"

He added: "I thought that was part of the act, I was quite worried."

Nicole Scherzinger looked confused and upset as security ran on stage and removed the invaders.

The cameras panned to the judges, with Louis Walsh attempting to create a façade of calm amongst the chaos.

Honey was comforted by Dermot O'Leary, but looked shaken by the incident.

Sharon Osborne later told the audience: "People just want to get close to her."

However, all may not be as it seems, as the Mirror reported that a second look at footage appeared to show that Honey G's performance crashers may have actually been pushed onto the stage by a member of the show's production team.

Fans on social media called the "gangster invasion" a "fix", labelling the show "pathetic".

However, it has since been confirmed the stunt was performed by online pranksters TrollStation.

They posted the following footage to their Facebook page...

Since then, she just did a mannequin challenge and it was one of the most painful things you could ever witness. Honey said she hopes the performance "goes down in history."
