Friends is going to go down in history as one of the best sitcoms of all time. Hands down. It's one of those shows where you can watch an episode over and over again and still laugh just as loudly the 23rd time. Plus, quotes will sneak their way into your vocabulary. It was a brilliant piece of television.

One of the main cast, David Schwimmer, played in my opinion the best character - Ross. The thing is, it wasn't all joking and laughs off-screen. In fact, it 'messed' him up a bit.-

He's opened up to Hollywood Reporter about how he felt during that time in a podcast. You can hear it all here.

Explaining, he said: "It was pretty jarring and it messed with my relationship to other people in a way that took years, I think, for me to adjust to and become comfortable with.

"As an actor, the way I was trained, my job was to observe life and to observe other people, so I used to walk around with my head up, really engaged and watching people. The effect of celebrity was the absolute opposite: it made me want to hide under a baseball cap and not be seen.

"And I realised after a while that I was no longer watching people; I was trying to hide. So I was trying to figure out: how can I be an actor in this new world, in this new situation? How do I do my job? That was tricky."

However, the weirdest thing to come out of the interview was the revelation that David Schwimmer was originally supposed to play Agent J in Men in Black.

How good was that film, though? Damn.

It would've been very different without Will Smith, though. I'm going off on a tangent but I am definitely watching that movie later.
