It’s Ali G's Fault That Trump Is Running For President

Cast your minds back to 2003; Ali G was on our screens and Donald Trump was just some dude who kept going bankrupt but still had a ton of money somehow. Life was good.

On his show Ali G would interview a bunch of famous people, who mostly didn't know he was a fictional character and we'd laugh; it was a simple premise. The best ideas are always the most simple, like Ali G's idea for an ice cream glove - to stop your hands getting sticky when eating ice cream - which he pitched to none other than the current presidential candidate Donald Trump.

During the interview, Trump goes along with it before bringing the interview to an abrupt end and walking off.

Trump looks pissed throughout the whole thing, tbh. For a man who chooses to have that haircut, it's weird he can't take a joke.

Anyway, thinking back to the interview, Trump posted this Tweet in 2012:

However, speaking on the Late Late Show with James Cordon, Sacha said that Trump was lying and that the interview actually lasted for around seven minutes, which according to him is a 'quite a long time' for an Ali G interview.

He finishes the story by saying: "He did not invest, and decided to move into politics instead."

So, there you have it, all Ali G's fault.
