Remember how happy we all were when Leo finally won his Oscar? Gave us all a little bit of hope, didn't it? But did you know that Leo apparently already had an Oscar on his mantelpiece?
In November 2012, on his 38th birthday, Red Granite, the production company behind Wolf of Wall Street, gave him an Oscar. Not just a replica, nope, they gave him Marlon Brando's Oscar. I shit you not.

So far no big deal, right? Until you learn that Brando reportedly never sold his award and neither did his estate - it just 'went missing'. The award allegedly sold for $600,000 in 2012, through a specialist movie memorabilia dealer.
Brando's estate executor and his former assistant, Avra Douglas, told the Hollywood Reporter that the award went missing while he was still alive. She said: "He was trying to track it down and kept hitting dead ends. It would be great to get it back."
This isn't the first time that Red Granite has found itself in a bit of trouble. The company's founder is the stepson of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who is caught up in a messy $3b embezzlement and money laundering scandal.

As yet it seems that the Academy has taken no action towards Leo or Red Granite.
