Chocolate Coated Oreos Are A Thing But They’re Not Available Everywhere

Take my money!

Oreos are already a gift from the gods: the sweet creme filling nestled between two chocolate wafers amount to a combination perfect for virtually any scenario.

But Cadbury has stepped up the game, and the calorific intake of the delicious snack, by adding a particular ingredient: chocolate.

If you're not salivating already, just take a look at some of the photos of the product.

One particular fan writes: "Just when I thought Oreo couldn't produce another product that would impress me after the original Oreo chocolate bar/eggs, they've done it. These chocolate coated biscuits are actually the best, but I'm noticing a trend here. The only time Oreo seems to do anything right is when they team up with Cadbury. Riddle me that Oreo?"

"Thanks for teaming up with Oreo because you took a sad, greasy, over-rated biscuit & somehow made it wonderful."

People have been doing DIY chocolate coated Oreos for years now, but this is the first official design from the company itself. Unfortunately, the delicious looking cookies aren't available all across the world.

It's only been released in Australia and a few other countries, and it's not yet available in the UK. Each box contains six packs of two cookies, according to Pop Sugar. They're also a bloody bargain, with one retailer flogging them for just $3.80 (US$2.98, £2.31).

The lucky Aussies who have been gifted with this product have made no secret of just how good they are.

This isn't the first time that Cadbury has used Oreos to create other mouth-watering products. Oreo Creme Eggs were released in the UK but didn't end up in the US, and there were also Oreo chocolate bars, which, depending on your tastes, add up to the best of both worlds.

There's no word yet on when the chocolate coated cookies will be released in the UK, but at least you've got another reason to fly to Australia.
