People from Australia and New Zealand have been keeping a secret from the rest of us: chicken salt.
Yeah, that's right, salt, with extract of chicken. Now you're thinking about it, you're wondering why you've never craved it ever before.
Containing *SPOILER ALERT* - chicken - it has a yellow tinge to it and is tastier than whatever Game Of Thrones Season Seven spoiler is going to be dropped.

I shit you not, this condiment has become Australia's favourite and has completely slipped under the radar. We'd like it here on our chips, please. Struth, mate, ketchup has nothing on this. The only thing that will come close to this is gravy.
It's become such a mainstay that you can also have chicken salt with hints of garlic and onion, or paprika.
They have to thank Mitani, a spices company in Adelaide, to thank for the creation and it's time this became a global phenomenon.

And there's good news for vegetarians and vegans, too. Yes, there's a vegan-friendly alternative that is supposedly even tastier and more nutritious than the original, using a chicken flavoured extract from the mountains of Transylvania - a very special recipe that I have completely made up and is complete bollocks. Veggies and vegans - you can get fucked - this incredible product is not for you. Get back on your high horse.
EDIT: Had a lovely message from Cinimod in New South Wales. Apparently most of the chicken salt brands are actually veggie. He told me: "...worth noting that most brands are vegetarian or even vegan, the flavour not always being derived from chicken. Vegetable stock, on the other hand, can sometimes contain animal products so definitely not a bad and fast rule."
So perhaps veggies and vegans can enjoy it. They can still get fucked though.
