Long gone are the times when we'd pray for our favourite Hot Wheels car in Happy Meals, because soon you might be able to turn your box into a virtual reality headset.
The Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR both launch this year, and many believe 2016 will be the year that virtual reality really takes off.
With this in mind, McDonald's has announced "Happy Goggles," a virtual reality headset made out of a Happy Meal box. Seriously.
All you need is a smartphone to enable you to play a pretty shitty-looking skiing game while you stare into your Happy Meal box.
Around 3,500 Happy Goggles have been made and will be rolled out at fourteen McDonald's establishments in Sweden this weekend, AdWeek reports.
If the trial is a success, the initiative is expected to make its way to the UK and America.
The future is here, lads.
