This Cocaine Joke Probably Won 2016 And Phillip Schofield Should Do This

Joke, or starting early?

Ever thought that Michel Roux Jnr might like to dabble in a bit more than foie gras and underhand Scrooge tactics when employing his staff?

Ever wondered whether Antony Worrall Thompson likes a little more than just a bit of casual shoplifting?

Ever seen Phil Vickery on TV and thought, 'He'd be a lot more interesting if he just had a bit of ket!'

Well 37-year-old chef Ľubomír Herko was cutting up a rather suspicious substance with a credit card and bank note at the ready live on Slovakian TV earlier this year. Cocaine banter merchant, or full on savage?

Take a look here...

And look at the face of a very naughty man, who simultaneously, through one look, seems to acknowledge it was comedy gold and also probably quite foolish...

At the time, a spokesperson for Markiza stated:

"We consider it as an absolutely inappropriate 'joke', which should not be in a show of this kind."

"Our TV company will suffer the consequences of it."

Herko claims it was powdered sugar (perhaps a code word), saying: "I apologise if people took this the wrong way.

"We had some powdered sugar there. We put it into a thermomixer and a bit of it spilled around.

"Of course, the idea was stupid... I feel really sorry that it turned out like this."

Who really knows the truth?

Of course, we have our own cocaine queen cook in the UK, but she never went as far as to line it up live on television.

The nearest we have to TV screw-ups in the UK is weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker. Here he is flipping the bird.
