TheLADbible Remembers Adam Milner, Aged 21, Lost Tragically To A Girlfriend

TheLADbible Remembers Adam Milner, Aged 21, Lost Tragically To A Girlfriend

RIP, a sad passing.

It's tragic to think that just six months ago, 21-year-old acting student Adam Milner was in the prime of single life. Having started his first year at St. Mary's University in Twickenham, there looked to be a bright future for the young man - after all he was always up for a night on the lash with his flatmates in halls and he never had a reason not to hang with his pals.

He drank vodka cranberries, smashed it on FIFA and spent his nights in watching WWE. Sadly, this wouldn't last, as the unthinkable would happen. Around four months ago, Adam's life would be changed forever, when he was taken away from those closest to him.... by a new relationship.

The change came gradually; at first the guys he lived with began to notice that he started turning down trips to the pub. 'Sorry, I'm busy tonight', he'd say. That wasn't like him, but it was perhaps understandable - he was seeing a girl after all. But, sadly, things only deteriorated from there.

The other residents noticed strange changes in his behaviour and that Adam was no longer as interested in the things he had been previously. Rather than playing video games and watching wrestling, it seem the only time he wanted to turn on the TV was to watch Coronation Street and EastEnders when his girlfriend was round.

The fellas seemed to see less and less of him, and when they saw him around halls it just wasn't the same.

It was last week when they finally realised that the man they had previously known had passed over to the other side. On Friday night, with the rest of his housemates heading to the Student Union to have a few pints, Adam decided to turn them down. He wanted to 'have a night in' he said.

A funeral was quickly organised. In attendance were his good friends: Ben Hull, Jack Knight, Jordan Chapman, Joe Turner, Ciehlan Doherty, Christian Hutchings, Sam Olds, Tito Williams, Jack Wylie and Charlie Mead.

Ahead of the service, Adam's 10 friends set up a table with a picture of him, along with some of his favourite things such as video games and a packet of cigarettes.

During the remembrance service, Physical Education and Sports student Ben Hull gave a speech dedicated to their "fallen friend" and invited others to speak.

After that, the boys sang a moving rendition of 'Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You' together, before agreeing it was time to "move on."

Speaking to TheLADbible, friend and funeral organiser Ben Hull offered an emotional plea to his lost friend: "Come back to where you belong in single paradise. We want the Adam we know and love back."

Jack Knight, who lives in the halls across from Adam, added: "To my dearest friend, playing the organ at your funeral was one of the hardest moments of my life so far. Banging shot after shot at Viper rooms just isn't the same now you're gone. Come back before it's too late."

True to form, Adam was not in attendance at the funeral. He instead chose to remain in his room and go on his phone.

However, TheLADbible managed to reach out to Adam from beyond the grave, who said he and his girlfriend "thought the entire thing was hilarious."

And in a moving final message, he added: "Try not to miss me too much, lads, and sesh as hard as you possibly can in my absence."

RIP, a tragic loss.
