Clown Hunting Vigilantes Are Being Setup To Stop The Clowns

I fear the streets of England could well be running red with blood tonight, as people dressed up as clowns - because they have shit senses of humour - fight groups of vigilantes who have been set up to stop the circus wannabes.

But where might these epic fights be taking place? The tough streets of Glasgow? The back alleys of Leeds? Not quite. Apparently, the first of the anti-clown vigilante groups has been set up in the 'white guys with dreadlocks' mecca of Bristol.

The Clown Hunters Facebook page, based mainly in the south west of England, says that they are just 'normal guys' who want to stop the craze of people wearing clown outfits to scare others.

It posted: "We are a group of normal guys who have a mission to STOP these idiots dressed as clowns scaring people.

"We have divided our volunteers into groups to patrol these areas. Please feel free to join us."

Harsh words indeed. We can only wait for the clowns' responses to the vigilantes. Will they realise that what they're doing is stupid and that it's time to go to back eating pot-noodles in their parents' basements, lamenting their inability to lose their virginity, or will they lash out? Only time will tell.

Over the weekend we reported that as well as jumping out on people, walking around with knives and getting themselves beaten up by baseball bats, they've now taken to picking on young mums who are walking kids to school.

Georgia Kitching, 18, was with her two-month-old daughter and her brother and sister, aged between nine and 12, in Llanelli, South Wales, when a clown jumped out holding balloons and ran towards them.

And according to an Instagram account called clowns_r_coming_to_essex, as many as 20 clowns with knives are set to raid UK schools.

Bower Park School, Havering College, Sanders School and Marshalls Park School are the schools that will be targeted on Wednesday, according to the rumours, with one post including the caption: "Next on Wednesday at 2:30 with 20 clowns with knife good luck," on a picture of Bower Park School.

Is all of this largely bullshit? Probably. Still, who knows when the madness will end.
